Linen is a yarn created from the stem fibres of a flax plant. The breathability of the fibre, creates a light airy fabric which does not absorb heat; thus, making it perfect for summer garments.

Plain weave is the oldest form of fabric creation in which each warp yarn is criss-crossed with each weft yarn at right angles. They can be coarse or smooth in texture depending on the fibre used to create the yarn.
